Well spotted and executed superbly!Heather K. McFarland May 26, 2019
Thank you Robert! I liked the contrast between the smooth water with raindrops against the water falling over the edge. Had rain and a dead sky all weekend up north trying to shoot fall colors. So I had to find subjects that didn't include the sky! I used an 80-200mm lense, 1/60 sec at F3.8. #20182Cathy M. Gromball May 26, 2019

Wow, I've got to try some water shots..... #20207Heather K. McFarland May 26, 2019
Thank you Cathy and Damain.Damain - water is one of the coolest things to shoot. The reflective properities alone make for endless opportunities. Not to mention the different textures moving water can provide!
Besides...that's what we have in abundance here in Michigan. WATER...not just the Great Lakes, but thousands of inland lakes, streams and rivers! #20213

A great photograph - nothing more to add!Carol Engstrom May 26, 2019
Very nice Heather. The first thing I noticed was what you mentioned--the contrast between the water with the raindrops, and the water cascading down the rocks. Great job! If I ever find any water I will have to try some water shots too. #20237Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
